Home » News » Ayodhya On High Alert Just Before ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ After Terror Attack Warnings from Intelligence Agencies


While talks about ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony in Ram Mandir at Ayodhya which has been scheduled for 5th August 2020 and the Independence Day, have been doing rounds, the intelligence agencies alerted the authorities of an expected terror attack in the area. Consequentially, the security has increased manifolds in Ayodhya, also, the security in Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi would be beefed up.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be present for the event. Other invitees expected to grace the ceremony include – BJP leaders L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

According to reports, it was observed that the Indian intelligence agencies have warned against terror attacks, citing that Pakistan’s intelligence services ISI, have sent members from terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad into Indian territories with an intent to sabotage the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. It is reported that these terrorists were trained in Afghanistan and that they have entered in the groups of three to five people, to initiate the attacks.

Coincidentally, Ram Mandir’s ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony at Ayodhya, concur with the First anniversary of historical event after the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

Meanwhile, sources reported that the arrangements for the event remain unaffected and are on full-fledged scale. It has also been asserted that while the Saket college helipad will be adorned and decorated with life-size sketches of Lord Ram and Sita, the buildings on either side of the road leading to the site will be covered with sketches from characters of the mythological epic Ramayana.

The buildings and structures leading to Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya are also being adorned, since the PM is expected to pay a visit to the same.
