A man was arrested on Saturday for stripping naked and thrashing three boys who were alleged of harassing some girls in the Chinchpada area of Maharashtra. The action has been initiated after the video of the incident went viral on the internet.
As per the police, the accused identified as Khopadi Ashappa Gunde alias Babu has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
It was alleged that the three boys who were stripped and thrashed were allegedly seen passing obscene remarks on few girls of his locality. As per the police, Gunde claimed that he has been receiving complaints from the family members of the girls that these boys used to tease them and pass lewd comments.
The other two aides of the accused who shot the video of the incident are absconding and the police have been trying to nab them.
