In a bizarre incident in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district, a 50 year old man was killed by his two friends after he refused to give them Rs 10 for buying liquor.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagwat Sitaram Phase. Bhagwat, along with his two friends – 40-year-old Vinod Laxman Wankhede and 35-year-old Dilip Tryambak Bodde, went to a liquor shop.
They asked Bhagwat to give Rs 10 rupees to which he refused. The accused attacked Bhagwat with a wooden stick from the back while he was walking out of the shop.
He succumbed to his injuries. The police arrested the accused within an hour.
