An Indian Television actress has accused a casting director identified as Ayush Tiwari of raping her. The actress has filed a complaint against the man under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code in Versova Police Station in Mumbai.
The complaint was registered on November 26.
The actress alleged that during their two years of relationship, he had raped her at several places under the pretext of marriage.
“An actress has accused her boyfriend of two years, of rape. It was under the pretext of marriage. We have registered FIR against the accused under Indian Penal Code Section 376,” told the senior police inspector Raghvendra Thakur.
He further added, “The investigation is going on. The arrest is yet to be made.”
