Besides winning the first Oscar for best actor in a leading role for his portrayal of Richard Williams, Will Smith also made headlines for slapping the presenter and American stand-up comedian Chris Rock.
Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head which did not appear to go well with her husband Will Smith.
“Jada I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” Chris joked.

When the camera cut to her, Jada rolled her eyes over the joke after which Will walked toward the stage and slapped him hard.
“Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth!” Will said.
A few minutes later, he received an Oscar for best actor and apologized to the Academy and his fellow nominees but didn’t mention Chris.
Jada has been open about her struggle with alopecia since 2018. Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder that leads to hair loss.
