In a horrific video, a man is seen thrashing a woman advocate near Vinayak Nagar in the Bagalkote district of Karnataka. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon.
The police has arrested the accused, Mahantesh Cholachagudda.

Mahantesh slapped and kicked Advocate Sangeetha Shikkeri multiple times over an alleged property dispute case. He claimed that the lawyer had harassed and tortured him.
Sangeetha was pushed back due to the intensity of the slap. Then, the accused kicked her in the stomach. She tried to defend herself and picked a chair but was slapped and kicked again. No one came forward to help the victim while Mahantesh was assaulting Sangeetha.
The incident was recorded and has gone viral on social media which ultimately led to the arrest of the accused.
