A 15 year old girl has been allegedly gangraped by three in Madhubani district of Bihar. The victim was deaf and mute since her birth. Her eyes are damaged by the perpetrators with a sharp edged object.
The police stated that the perpetrators had damaged both the eyes of the minor but it is yet to be ascertained by the doctors attending her that whether she has lost her eyesight completely or not.
The victim is in a critical situation. Harlakhi police station SHO Prem Lal Paswan informed that she was first admitted to the Umgaon community health centre and then referred to the Madhubani Sadar Hospital.
Superintendent of police Satya Prakash stated that three accused have been arrested in connection to the brutal rape which took place in Kauwaha Barhi village in Harlakhi police station area on Tuesday.
As per the village head Ram Ekbal, the girl who was deaf and mute had taken her goats for grazing the field outside the village with other children. One of the children informed the girl’s family about the incident. The girl was found lying unconscious in the barren field of the neighbouring Manoharpur village.
