In yet another shocking incident, four boys who were raping a 14-year-old girl in Bihar’s Kaimur district fled the spot after being spotted by a primary school headmaster. But instead of saving her, the headmaster also raped the victim.
Kaimur superintendent of police (SP) Rakesh Kumar stated that the police has arrested 55-year-old headmaster Surendra Kumar Bhaskar and a minor boy who is one of the four boys. The police has launched a manhunt to nab the other accused.
SP Kumar added that the victim’s statement will be recorded before the magistrate under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
14-year-old rape survivor told the police that she had stepped out of her house for defecation late Saturday evening. Meanwhile, four boys from the village abducted and took her to a secluded place. They allegedly took turns raping her. The accused includes two of her classmates.
While they were raping the minor girl, the headmaster of Pipra Middle School spotted the boys. All the four boys fled the spot as soon as they saw him. Shockingly, the headmaster, whom the victim was expecting to help her, also raped her.
As per SDPO, the headmaster then dropped the victim at her home and told the family that their daughter was raped by four boys and he saved her.
However, the victim narrated the entire incident to her family after the headmaster left. The girl was taken to Sadar hospital for treatment and her medical examination was also done.
An FIR has been registered against all the accused under POCSO Act.
