Earlier this week, in the wake of COVID-19, the Delhi HC has requested lawyers, litigants, and the general public to avoid overcrowding, and has also restricted it’s functioning from March 16 only to urgent matters.
The decision was taken in the office of Chief Justice D.N Patel with the assistance of the Administration and General supervision committee and other high court judges.
The entry of interns has also been restricted in courts until March 16 and the instructions have been issued to install thermal sensors.
The elections/functions which were supposed to happen are given a halt.
