Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who has been vocal about her thoughts in recent days, received rape threats on her social media post from an Odisha based lawyer. The lawyer later deleted his account and claimed his account to be hacked.
An FIR has been registered against Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel alleged of spreading communal hatred through their tweets and interviews. She shared some of her pictures of Navrati celebration on her Facebook wall and stated, “Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today’s celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon #Navratri.”
The actress then received tape threats from an Odisha based lawyer identified as Mehendi Reza and commented “Should b raped in mid town”.
Kangana has not reacted to the incident yet. However, the advocate apologized and claimed that his account was hacked. “Today my Facebook ID got hacked at evening and some derogatory comments get posted. This is my not views regarding any women or any community. I am also very shocked and apologise for it. I request to all the people of kindly accept my apology and forgive me whose sentiments got hurt. I am really sorry for it,” stated Advocate Reza. He even deleted his Facebook account after the incident.
The “Queen” actress is enjoying the Navratris and family functions at her hometown in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Both of her brothers Karan and Akshit are getting married within a month.
