Petitions were moved before the Delhi High court today, seeking lodging FIR against Congress President Sonia Gandhi, ex-president Rahul Gandhi, its general secretary Priyanka Vadra and others for allegedly giving hate speeches. Another plea sought registration of FIR against Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia, MLA Amanatullah Khan.
The plea has also requested to set up a Special Investigation Team to look into the alleged hate speeches.
Further, another petition was filed by Hindu Sena, seeking FIR against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi, Waris Pathan, Akbaruddin Owaisi and Mehmood Pracha for their alleged inflammatory speeches.
It was alleged that inflammatory speeches were made by AIMIM MLA from Mumbai, Waris Pathan and that his speeches surcharged communal tension in Delhi, which resulted in the death of several people.
