In order to make this Diwali more special, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to give appointment letters to 75,000 youth. PM Modi will connect with the appointees through video conferencing on October 22. The government will also launch ‘Rozgar Mela’ to recruit 10 lakh personnel.

Reportedly, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) had asked all the ministries to find out vacant posts in their respective ministry and fill them up within a stipulated time.

The appointment will be done in Defence Ministry, Railway Ministry, post department, Home Ministry, Labour and Employment Ministry, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Bureau of Investigation, customs, and banking, among others.

Positions in Central Armed Force Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspectors, and MTS will also be filled.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will join from Odisha, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya from Gujarat, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur from Chandigarh, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal from Maharashtra, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav from Rajasthan, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman from Tamil Nadu, Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Pandey from Uttar Pradesh, Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda from Jharkhand, and Minister of Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh from Bihar.
