Gurmeet Ram Rahim Was Nit Hardcore Criminal : Haryana Govt
In a detailed report submitted to Punjab and Haryana High Court, Haryana govt submitted that Gurmeet Ram Rahim was not a ‘hardcore criminal’ as he was not the assailant and had not executed the actual killings in the two murder cases that he has been convicted for.
It further added that Dera Chief was only convicted for hatching conspiracy with other accused in these two murders.
Advocate General of Haryana had opined that he cannot be categorised as a ‘hardcore criminal’ under Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act.
