Loni assault case is getting complicated with every passing day. More videos (with audio now) of the incident are doing rounds on the internet. The video that was released earlier and triggered outrage, was muted.

In the new videos, the assailants can be heard talking about ‘deception’ and ‘occult practices’. They were questioning him and were also searching a bag containing items of ‘Jadu Tona’.

Besides that, a handwritten complaint dated June 6 signed by the victim Abdul Samad Saifi has also surfaced now. However, police have denied receiving any complaint on June 6.

Victim’s Family Challenged Ghaziabad Police ‘No Communal Angle’ Claims

On Thursday, the family of the victim, 72-year-old Abdul Samad Saifi has denied Ghaziabad police claims that there is no communal angle. They have shared a copy of the complaint that the victim had written on June 6, 2021.

Coming out with one more allegation, the complaint also alleged that he was also asked to drink their urine when Saifi asked for water. In a muted video, a group of men can be seen brutally assaulting an elderly man and chopping off his beard.

They alleged that the police is making a false case and weaving a fake narrative. The victim’s son, Babbu has also alleged that the police have ignored the major details of the complaint and are framing Muslim youths to give this matter a different narrative. They also turned down the claims about the amulet business.

“The entire police narrative is concocted. We have nothing to do with magic or ‘taweez’. We are Saifis and have been working as carpenters for generations. The police statement that Muslims were involved in the assault is false too. Beard is a Muslim identity and no Muslim will cut it off forcibly,” said Babbu Saifi.
