Noida police conducted a sting operation over the complaint by Gaurav Gupta, a member of People For Animals. People For Animals is an animal rights group that is run by BJP parliamentarian Maneka Gandhi. The police raided the banquet hall in Sector 51 on Thursday for the party.
The complainants reported to the Noida Police that they had received information suggesting that Elvish Yadav had been involved in shooting videos featuring snake venom and live snakes at his Noida farmhouse. Additionally, they alleged that he organized “illegal” rave parties, often invited foreign girls.
According to the complaint, a member of an NGO approached Elvish Yadav, requesting him to procure cobra venom. Elvish Yadav allegedly shared the contact details of his agent and provided a phone number for communication.
Upon reaching out to the agent, an agreement was made to provide snakes and snake venom. Subsequently, five individuals, identified as Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath, were dispatched to the arranged location for a decoy party. At this point, the NGO members informed the police about the situation, leading to the apprehension of the five individuals who had brought snakes and snake venom. They were taken into custody. These individuals apparently mentioned Elvish Yadav in connection with the incident.
