The post mortem report of 46 year old Mahipal Singh who died on Sunday evening and had received Coronavirus vaccine shot on Saturday reveals that the death is unrelated to vaccination. It was reported that the deceased died after complaining of chest congestion and breathlessness.
The Moradabad district’s Chief Medical Officer, Milind Chandra Garg said that Mahipal Singh died of ‘cardiogenic shock/septicemic shock’ due to ‘cardiopulmonary disease’. “He was vaccinated on Saturday around noon. On Sunday he felt breathless and complained of chest congestion. We are inquiring into the reasons for the death. We will get a post mortem done. It does not seem to be a reaction to vaccination. He did night duty on Saturday too and there were no problems,” said CMO Garg.
He further added, “Deceased Mahipal’s heart was found enlarged and it had blood clots according to the postmortem report. It appears that Mahipal was suffering from a cardiac disease.” The postmortem conducted by three doctors panel cited that the death was caused by cardio-pulmonary disease and there is no relation with corona vaccine.
46-year old Mahipal Singh was working as a ward boy in the surgical ward in Deendayal Upadhya hospital in Moradabad. Mahipal called his son to the hospital after he found it difficult to breathe. “My father was suffering from a cough but after vaccination he had fever and felt heaviness in breathing. On Sunday he was admitted in the government hospital where he expired at night,” told Mahipal’s son.
The deceased’s family members submitted that he never had any cardiac problem and he was quite healthy except for the fever and cough. His son further added, “My father was not suffering from corona even when he performed his duty properly during the pandemic.”
As per Moradabad District Magistrate Rakesh Singh has ordered a high-end inquiry in the matter. DM Singh also said that the vaccination is fully safe and no side-effects were reported.
CMO denied all the allegations regarding vaccine side-effects, though he admitted that many employees who took the Covid vaccine shot were suffering from fever. He also stated that some of those who were vaccinated were facing general problems but not like Mahipal.
The Government of India started the vaccination drive on January 16. As per UP government, they vaccinated 22,643 people on the very first day of the drive.
