In a disturbing video, a group of men was seen molesting two Adivasi women in broad daylight in a crowded fair. What’s more shocking was no one came forward to help but shamelessly recorded the incident. The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district.

As per the police, the victims have not filed any complaint yet. But, the police has taken cognizance of the video and has arrested three men.
“On the basis of the video, we identified the men who sexually assaulted the woman. We have nabbed three of them while five others, who were shooting video and instigating the accused, are absconding. Police teams are trying to nab them,” said Alirajpur Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh.
The accused have been booked under Section 354(a) (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and Section 34(a) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
In the video, two women were seen standing beside a vehicle on a busy road at the annual festival fair in Alirajpur. A man from the mob started molesting a woman. Another man pushed a man towards another woman standing there near the vehicle. A few seconds later, a man grabbed a woman and dragged her towards the mob. The women were trying to hide behind the vehicle.
Bhagoria is an annual festival celebrated by Adivasi communities in the state a week before Holi.
