Kerala High Court has provided a relief to the Bollywood actress Sunny Leone and her two aides and restrained the police from arresting them over a complaint filed by an event manager in Kochi.

The court asked Crime Branch wing of the Kerala police not to arrest the three accused in an alleged cheating case till they are served notices as per the criminal proceedings,

Earlier this month, Kerala police had questioned the actress in a private resort in the state capital. Sunny Leone explained the whole sequence of events and submitted that she has done no wrong.

Event manager, R. Shiyas who organise events in and around Kochi, had filed a complaint against Sunny Leone and two of her aides with the DGP of Kerala. He alleged that the manager of Sunny Leone had taken Rs 29 lakh while promising to attend various inaugural functions but she failed to do so.

Shiyas complained that her manager had taken money from him in the form of installments from 2016 but didn’t fulfill her promises to attend the functions.

While Sunny Leone admitted that her manager had received the payments and she had given dates to him several times. The issue arose as the event manager didn’t comply with the dates she provided.
