With every passing day, the investigation is digging new mysteries and is turning the case more complicated and indicating more towards the murder angle. In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, a big revelation has come into the light. ED has produced WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty where she was talking about MDMA and marijuana.
“Use 4 drops in coffee, tea or water and let him sip it. Give it 30-40 minutes for it to kick in,” disclosed a WhatsApp message sent to Jaya Saha by Rhea Chakraborty on November 25 last year.
It was communicated that these are the retrieved chats of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s live-in girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty which she has deleted. These Whatsapp chats have deepened the suspicion even more by indicating a drug conspiracy.
The first chat is related to a conversation between Rhea and a drug dealer, Gaurav Arya. “If we talk about hard drugs, then I have not used more drugs,” said Rhea to Gaurav. Another chat between the two stated, “You have MD?”
Another piece of Whatsapp chat between Rhea and Samuel Miranda was retrieved which stated, ‘Hi Rhea, the stuff is almost over.’ This conversation between Rhea and Samuel took place on April 17, 2020. After this Miranda asks Rhea, can we take drugs from Shovik’s friend? But he has only hash and bud.”
Following the discoveries during the money laundering case investigation against Rhea, Enforcement Directorate has informed the Central Bureau of Investigation and Narcotics Control Bureau about the alleged links of Rhea Chakraborty to the banned drugs. So they are likely to join hands with ED in the following revelation.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, and her husband Vishal Kirti has called it a criminal offence and urged for immediate action.
“This is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE!! An immediate action should be taken by CBI on this,” tweeted Shweta Singh Kirti. While Vishal Kirti wrote to his twitter wall, “Now that we know from @TimesNow ‘s disclosure that Rhea and her coconspirators were surreptitiously administering drugs to SSR in coffee, looks like my hypotheticals in this post (based on the FIR)were not off the mark. Read the section where I question Rhea’s role.”
SSR’s lawyer Vikas Singh while commenting on the revelations stated, “In our FIR, we have mentioned that he used to be over-drugged. We were under the impression that this was some drug administered by a doctor, a psychiatrist, but this revelation is absolutely explosive. Probably, he was being literally drugged, meaning he was given these hardcore drugs which are given to someone to sort of control his mind.”
He called it highly illegal to administer such drugs to the deceased without his knowledge. He further added, “It is quite obvious that what was done to Sushant was definitely highly illegal and highly criminal. These drugs were being used to either control him, calm him down or make him docile. That is what the servants also say, that he used to be sleeping on the ground floor. He had a duplex, sixth floor and seventh floor. He used to be sleeping on one floor and there were parties going on on the other floor. Rhea used to be having a party and Sushant used to be sleeping on the other floor. So, there was definitely an element of actual drugging. Not drugging in the sense that we had said in the FIR, but actual drugging. It means that he was administered something contrary to his will, without his knowledge, and the purpose of that drugging was to subdue him, make him docile or to affect his mind very badly. That is ultimately what led to his death.”
Contrary to that, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has refuted all the allegations and said, “Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She is ready for a blood test.”
Self-made Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. First Mumbai police was investigating the matter but later Sushant’s father had filed an FIR in Bihar alleging Rhea and others of criminal conspiracy, abetment to suicide, extortion, among others. The incident led to huge outrage in the country and following the public demand, the Supreme Court has ordered CBI probe into the matter.
