A Mumbai Court on Friday refused to grant the bail to Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan who was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to the seizure of drugs. He is currently lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar remanded Aryan and 7 others to 14 days of judicial custody on October 7. However, NCB’s plea seeking further custody of all the accused for interrogation was rejected.
The eight people remanded to judicial custody include Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, and Gomit Chopra.
NCB has recovered 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA, 5 grams of MD, and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash during the raid on October 2. Aryan Khan and 18 others were booked from a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
