Sports law in India works hand in hand with civil, criminal as well as constitutional law of India. The role of civil as well as constitutional law in sports law is to ensure that deserving sports persons get fair opportunity and treatment, and nepotism and bias is curbed. While, the criminal law in sports law ensures that the pureness of a sport is not spoiled by corrupt practices such as doping, match fixing, etc. With an increase in the quality of competitive sports training institutes in Noida, the competition amongst sports players is on a rise. Rise in competition raises various difficulties in the selection procedure, where the influential and dominant people try to overpower the less fortunate yet capable sports persons. In order to curb such types of problems, the civil, constitutional and criminal Laws come at the rescue.

How to engage services of B&B Associates LLP
1. Step wise procedure
- Factual Narration of the matter in hand as to how, when, where and why the dispute arose.
- Research and Drafting of the case according to the factual narration.
2. Filing of the case
The work is not done by just filing the case. After filing the following stages are followed:
- Summoning of the opposite party by the adjudicating authority.
- Filing of reply by the opposite party: The adjudicating authority as a basic principle of natural justice gives the opposite party an opportunity to defend the allegation levelled against it.
- Replication: This stage allows the plaintiff to refute/ deny the counter allegations leveled by the opposite party in their reply.
- Framing of issues: The filing of suit, filing of reply and replication form the part of pleadings. Once the pleading stage is complete, the adjudicating authority frames issue on facts as well as laws and fixes the onus on the contesting parties to prove the same.
- Evidence of plaintiff: Once the issues are framed, it is incumbent upon the plaintiff to prove those issues which the adjudicating authority has affixed the onus to prove upon him either by documentary evidence or by oral evidence.
- Evidence of Defendant: Once the issues are framed, it is incumbent upon the defendant to prove those issues which the adjudicating authority has affixed the onus to prove upon him either by documentary evidence or by oral evidence.
- Rebuttal evidence, if any
- Arguments: after the evidence stage is concluded, both the plaintiff and the defendant defend the issues on factual as well as legal basis. After the arguments are advanced, the case is reserved for passing of a judgment and decree.
- Disposal of the case: An adjudicating authority passes a judgment and decree on the basis of issues framed. The party who according to the opinion of the adjudicating authority has succeeded in proving their respective issues, gets a decree in its favor.
3. Appeals
The party aggrieved by the judgment and decree of the adjudicating court may approach the appellate court challenging the decision of the trial court. The appeal can be filed at Sessions Court or the High Court, as the case may be depending upon whether the trial court was a court of Civil Judge or a was a Sessions Court.
4. Execution of judgment and decree
After the plaintiff is successful in getting a judgment and decree in its favor and the defendant is defying the orders of the adjudicating authority, the plaintiff may approach the authority which has passed the judgment and decree for its execution. The execution can be done by either attachment of the property of the defendant or by sending him to civil imprisonment.
